QA ANALYST

IMT Software Services, a division of IMT Insurance, is now looking to fill the position of QA Analyst. IMT Software Services is the industry-leading software provider for farm mutual insurance companies across the nation with most of our customers based in the Midwest. With over 40 years of experience and building relationships in the mutual insurance software industry. As a QA Analyst, you will work within a development team to solve business problems with technology and will also provide product testing support and technical guidance to the departments teams. A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Test system changes and enhancements to ensure they meet business specifications/needs and to verify overall system functionality and operability are appropriate and ready for implementation
  • Work within Agile teams, (Scrum and Kanban), and participate in team ceremonies
  • Ability to analyze simple relationships and configuration and communicate clear results
  • Evaluate and interpret business requirements to create test cases
  • Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Accepts input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback
  • Works under direct supervision

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A college education or 1-3 years relevant experience needed to perform normal functions
  • Ability to process, collect, interpret and manage information in order to identify, analyze and resolve problems and implement solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and concepts both orally and in writing
  • Possess a positive attitude and maintain professional conduct to foster a cooperative work environment and build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Consistently provide effective, timely and courteous service to internal and external customers
  • Desire to learn Test Automation or past experience in this area
  • Meet deadlines to successfully support the team
  • Must possess a strong aptitude for project management through excellent organizational, problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills
