CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Location: Remote

Security Clearance: Eligible for or active Secret

Work Schedule: Part-time / project-based; must be available during core hours, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday–Friday.

Position Summary

CFDay is seeking a Section 508 / Quality Assurance Tester to serve as the accessibility technical authority for digital training products developed for the National Institute of Corrections. The successful candidate will perform accessibility testing, document defects, support remediation, and validate conformance throughout the learning-product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing of digital training products and interfaces.

· Validate Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance.

· Identify, document, and track accessibility defects throughout development.

· Provide specific and actionable remediation guidance to instructional-design and development personnel.

· Validate corrections following remediation.

· Maintain accessibility compliance documentation.

· Integrate universal-design considerations early in the curriculum-development lifecycle.

· Support final quality assurance, testing, validation, and publishing activities.

Required

· Demonstrated experience with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

· Demonstrated knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

· Experience performing manual and automated accessibility testing.

· Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and validating accessibility defects.

· Ability to provide actionable remediation guidance.

· Experience maintaining accessibility compliance documentation.

· Understanding of universal and accessible design principles.

· Strong quality-assurance and documentation skills.

Preferred

· Experience testing e-learning or web-based training products.

· Experience supporting federal accessibility compliance.

· Experience working with instructional designers, developers, and multimedia personnel.
