Job Responsibilities

As a Frac Mechanic at Python Pressure Pumping, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on pressure pumping equipment.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Assisting in the installation of new equipment and systems.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in automotive or diesel mechanics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Willingness to work a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule, including overnight travel.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with pressure pumping equipment is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
