Job Responsibilities
As a Frac Mechanic at Python Pressure Pumping, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on pressure pumping equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Assisting in the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in automotive or diesel mechanics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Willingness to work a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule, including overnight travel.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with pressure pumping equipment is a plus.
