Job Title: Junior Developer

Department: IT

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Reports To: Director of IT

ROLE SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Junior Developer will be responsible for contributing and supporting Form10 Group’s companywide programs and software. The primary purpose of this position is to focus on application development and maintenance, working alongside the senior developer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in developing and maintaining modules and applications to enhance day-to-day functions.
  • Collaborate with team members in creating and updating workflows and business rules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues while customizing software applications and building integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Document processes and create technical specifications to support enterprise system integrations and automation.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is performed in compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 requirements, as applicable.
  • Assist with full-stack web application projects (React, Next.js, Node.js) and testing activities, making sure operations are running efficiently.
  • Consult with end users to ensure appropriate hardware, software and functional systems specifications meet the needs of the business.
  • Contribute to testing or modification of software systems based on user specifications.
  • Contribute to API Development and custom scripting tasks (Python, Node.js, Go or Rust).
  • Participate in code reviews and team development processes by providing regular status updates and communicating progress, challenges, and questions to the team.
  • Connect with team members through meetings and messaging platforms to understand expectations and provide assistance.
  • Support the work on internal tools and utilities, ensuring the upkeep and progression of software.
  • Demonstrate cooperation and flexibility while being optimistic in learning new strategies and balancing various tasks.
  • Other duties as required or requested.

  • ServiceNow experience or familiarity with the platform
