Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Commercial Security Consultant who specializes in growing a new client base within the commercial intrusion, access control, video surveillance & fire alarm verticals. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, an aptitude for technology and the ability to develop industry related partnerships within an assigned territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territory
  • Communicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their business and security needs; identify and suggest solutions based on those needs
  • Design and present integrated security solutions to prospective and existing client base
  • Develop relationships with relevant industry partners
  • Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Utilize CRM for sales activity and backlog reporting

Education / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or relevant field
  • A minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required
  • Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent sales & negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software

Other Duties:
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
  • Performs other duties as assigned
