    Air Cost Control ("A2C"), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, is seeking a Buyer that would be primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Placing Orders: Ordering goods and materials from suppliers based on the demand forecast, current stock levels, and lead times.
  • Vendor Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, and monitoring supplier performance. Lead contract negotiations and implementations with suppliers.
  • Cost Management: Ensuring that purchasing activities are done at the most competitive prices and with favorable payment terms to keep costs within budget.
  • Forecasting Demand: Analyzing historical data, market trends, and customer requirements to forecast future demand for products or materials.
  • Stock Monitoring: Tracking inventory levels to ensure the business has sufficient stock without over-ordering.
  • Managing Lead Times: Keeping track of lead times for production, shipping, and receiving to ensure products are available when needed.
  • Monitoring Supplier Performance: Tracking supplier delivery times, quality, and overall performance to ensure they meet expectations.
  • Optimizing Purchasing Processes: Continuously evaluating and improving procurement processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance the supply chain.
  • Collaboration with Other Teams : Regularly communicating with internal teams such as sales, logistics and Product managers to align procurement plans with overall business goals.

EDUCATION
  • Degree in business, supply chain management or a related field is required

EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management is required.
