What You Can Expect to Do

As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping hospital operations running smoothly by managing the acquisition, distribution, and sale of all medical and office supplies. You'll oversee daily inventory levels, restock critical items, and work closely with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery. In addition, you'll serve as the primary contact for equipment repairs and replacements, maintain hospital service contracts, and process vendor invoices for payment. This role also involves collaborating with the Hospital Administrator to manage inventory pricing and support strategic purchasing decisions that optimize cost and efficiency.

Qualifications

You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in maintaining efficient hospital operations. You possess strong analytical skills to evaluate vendor pricing and make cost-effective purchasing decisions, while also being capable of managing multiple priorities, such as restocking inventory, maintaining service contracts, and coordinating equipment repairs. Effective communication and collaboration are essential, especially when working with vendors and the Hospital Administrator. You take ownership of processes, are comfortable with data entry and invoice management, and have a problem-solving mindset that supports both day-to-day tasks and long-term operational goals.

  • Available Monday through Friday
  • Familiarity with Veterinary products/medications preferred.
