As Receiving Manager, you’ll deepen your expertise in inventory control, vendor accountability, logistics coordination, and shrink reduction while working closely with store leadership and department managers. We support team members who take ownership, improve processes, and grow their operational leadership skills within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, or logistics operations within a grocery, supermarket, foodservice, or food distribution environment is required
• Experience receiving perishable food products and maintaining proper product quality, temperature control, and inventory rotation (FIFO) is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper storage requirements for refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods
• Ability to accurately read and verify purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and inventory or receiving systems
• Experience using handheld scanners or inventory management devices preferred
• Able to safely lift and move products and work in cooler, freezer, and warehouse environments
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings or flexible schedules

Physical & Work Environment

This role is performed in warehouse, receiving dock, cooler, and freezer environments and requires extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, and organizing deliveries throughout the shift. The Receiving Manager must be able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures, including cold storage areas. The environment is fast-paced and logistics-focused, requiring strong time management, attention to detail, and physical stamina. Early morning or flexible shift availability is required to accommodate delivery schedules.
