To thrive as a Purchasing Professional, you need strong analytical skills, negotiation ability, and a solid understanding of supply chain management, often supported by a degree in business or related fields. Familiarity with procurement software such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, or Coupa, and certifications like CPM or CPSM are highly valued.
