Job description

Dealership Maintenance 

Job Summary:     This is a general custodial and maintenance position primarily for the service, parts and detail departments of the Landmark Ford Trucks dealership facility.  This is a Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm schedule. A role that involves extensive cleaning, organizing and safe upkeep of the service shop, parts and detail departments; inside and outside.  Emphasis is placed upon cleaning tasks surrounding automotive parts, fluids and related materials. This position is performed with safety & orderliness top-of-mind. 

Job Duties:

  • Keep the floor and “all” working surfaces clean, free of debris, automotive fluids and unobstructed
  • Keep shop towels, cleaning solvents, and other supplies fully stocked and organized.
  • Keep all trash containers, shop rag containers and large trash items emptied and/or placed in large dumpsters.
  • Keep the tire and tool rooms organized, clean and orderly for efficient and safe use.
  • Keep outside bay door, dumpster area and customer entrance areas clean and presentable.
  • Manage used oil filters and empty oil caddies as needed.
  • Communicate with Service Technicians regarding any parts, parts boxes and related items for discarding, “before” removing any of these items from their service bays.
  • Manage the winter weather needs regarding ice removal, snow shoveling throughout the entire dealership, for the safety of customers, vendors and employees.
  • This position has other maintenance and janitorial related duties, as assigned by the Service Manager
