Purchasing Assistant
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday | 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM


About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support Manufacturing Operations during a critical transition period. This role plays a key part in coordinating production planning, ensuring material readiness, and supporting internal material flow to keep operations running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production planning through Manufacturing Order coordination and updates
  • Track materials, kits, and components to ensure timely delivery to production
  • Assist in improving visibility into manufacturing cycle times through detailed order tracking
  • Collaborate with planning, purchasing, inventory, and production teams to resolve material issues
  • Monitor material readiness and escalate risks impacting schedules or deliveries
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, reports, and planning data
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to planning teams
  • Assist with process improvements related to material flow and planning


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in manufacturing support, planning, material coordination, or purchasing
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow
  • Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
