Supply Chain (Purchasing) & Inventory SpecialistEmployment Type: Contract to Direct Hire
Pay Range: $24-$28 per hour
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Work Schedule: On-site 5 days a week
Hours: 7a to 330pJoin our team as a Supply Chain (Purchasing) & Inventory Specialist, where you’ll keep purchasing moving, inventory records accurate, and vendors aligned with delivery timelines. This role supports day-to-day coordination across orders, reporting, documentation, and inventory control—helping ensure the right parts and materials are sourced, tracked, and ready when needed.Required Skills
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills to manage purchasing and inventory workflows
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including data entry and inventory management experience using Sage, SmartSheet, and Excel
  • Ability to generate and maintain accurate weekly reporting, including exporting and correcting data for internal review
  • Experience processing purchase orders and requisitions, including requesting quotes when needed
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to communicate professionally with vendors for updates on open orders and discrepancies
  • Familiarity with creating and managing part numbers as required
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
  • Must be able to lift and move materials up to 30 lbs.
