Distributor and Manufacturer's Representative of equipment, tools and materials to the Electronics Manufacturing Industry. Great people. Small, informal, aggressive and selling the top tier lines in our industry. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated buyer to take over the purchasing and inventory control responsibilities of our company.


Role Description

This is a 25-40 hr / week position, depending on the responsibilities taken.  You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and evaluating supplier performance. You will also be responsible for ensuring and measuring on-time delivery and inventory turns.  Playing a key role in the success of our business, your input will be needed and ability to work well in a team environment critical. 


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management
  • Strong negotiation and cost-reduction skills, while building great relationships with vendors
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field are great, but proven experience is most important.
