Global Food Corp is seeking a bilingual Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing, inventory, foodservice, restaurant, or food distribution experience looking to grow their career.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, and deliveries
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment
  • Track open orders and delivery schedules
  • Maintain purchasing records and reports
  • Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Operations teams
  • Help resolve product, shipment, and vendor issues
QualificationsRequired
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, inventory, foodservice, restaurant, or distribution experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
