Job description

Overview
Coordinates backorder and product allocations associated with product shortages that require product substitutions or the need for permanent product replacement. Acts as a liaison in between suppliers, supply chain peers, and clinical areas to prioritize and reduce supply disruption. Exercises discretion and independent judgment. Performs other proactive tasks to mitigate future risks.
Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Five (5) years of supply chain experience can substitute for the degree requirement.

  • Minimum 4 years of supply chain experience required, medical supply chain experience is preferred. Experience may consist of supplier negotiations, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, contracting, and/or informatics. Position requires initiative and the ability to work independently, demonstrating organizational skills and flexibility. Proven ability to problem-solve, clearly communicate, and intermediate use of Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a non-frequent driver
