Global Food Corp is seeking a bilingual Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing, inventory, foodservice, restaurant, or food distribution experience looking to grow their career.
Responsibilities- Create and manage purchase orders
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, and deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment
- Track open orders and delivery schedules
- Maintain purchasing records and reports
- Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Operations teams
- Help resolve product, shipment, and vendor issues
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, inventory, foodservice, restaurant, or distribution experience
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Food distribution or wholesale food experience
