Purchasing Specialist
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support purchasing and inventory operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or materials planning.
The Purchasing Specialist will create and manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, maintain inventory data, and help ensure materials are available to support operations.
Responsibilities
  • Create and manage purchase orders in NetSuite.
  • Track orders and communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and lead times.
  • Maintain accurate item, vendor, pricing, and inventory information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Support production and supply chain teams with material planning needs.
  • Generate reports and analyze data using Excel.
  • Assist with domestic and international purchasing activities.
  • Support process improvements and ERP data maintenance.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, materials planning, or a related field.
  • Experience using ERP (NetSuite preferred but not required)
  • Understanding of purchasing and inventory management processes.
  • Strong Excel and data management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
