The Associate Inventory Analyst will purchase inventory for assigned product categories to ensure proper inventory levels in DCs and store locations that align with inventory budgets to meet or exceed sales plans and service levels.

What You’ll Do:

This is a Full-Time Salary Position

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively purchase assigned products to meet or exceed service rates and turns
  • Monitor placed purchase orders for timeliness and/or date adjustments based on business needs
  • Monitor store inventory of assigned items to ensure levels support sales plans and turn targets
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors to resolve delivery, receiving or pricing issues
  • Assist in the setup of new items and ongoing item maintenance to ensure products are aligned to the correct store allocation files
  • Monitor and action upon expiring product in the DC to ensure inventory is pushed out prior to being placed on hold
  • Process market actions to domestic and franchise stores in support of product issues or returns
  • Perform sales modeling and opening order quantities for new items through Invent
  • Manage and update system inputs for assigned products such as lead time, MOQs, costs and vendor information
  • Ensure assigned items are set up in accordance with the Vendor’s Purchasing Agreement/Addendum


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid work environment, 2 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • 4+ years of retail buying or planning experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Analytical ability to track and purchase inventories in an appropriate time frame
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
