Jim Norton Toyota of OKC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Account Inventory Clerk to join our accounting team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate vehicle inventory records, processing vehicle purchases and sales, and ensuring all inventory transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

  • Stock in new and used vehicle inventory
  • Verify vehicle invoices, MSOs, titles, and purchase documentation
  • Process dealer trades and vehicle transfers
  • Reconcile vehicle inventory schedules and investigate discrepancies
  • Post vehicle purchases, sales, and inventory adjustments
  • Process factory invoices and incentives
  • Maintain floorplan records and assist with floorplan reconciliations
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Title departments to ensure complete deal documentation
  • Assist with month-end inventory reconciliations
  • Review aging inventory and report exceptions
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical inventory files
  • Prepare reports as requested by management
  • Perform additional accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with CDK Drive is highly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
  • Experience with general ledger posting and reconciliations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting coursework is a plus

  • This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership.
