A leading digital streaming network seeks a Finance Associate to manage procurement operations, expense management, financial reporting, and month-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial processing, supporting ERP procurement systems, and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting across affiliate distribution operations.

Finance Associate Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process by creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders, maintaining vendor records, monitoring invoices and cash disbursements, supporting ERP procurement activities, and assisting with the transition from SAP Ariba to Oracle Fusion.
  • Support month-end close activities by coordinating with business teams to ensure invoice submission, preparing expense accruals for marketing, events, travel, entertainment, and overhead expenses, and partnering with controllership and finance teams on key close deliverables.
  • Prepare monthly financial reconciliations by analyzing budget, forecast, and year-over-year variances, maintaining accrued and prepaid balance sheet accounts, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Utilize ERP, procurement, and general ledger systems to manage financial transactions, generate reports, analyze large datasets, support expense management, and provide financial insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners by providing procurement support, communicating financial information, resolving issues, adapting to changing business needs, and contributing to continuous process improvements.

Finance Associate Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, procurement, P2P (vendor communications, requisition management, payment tracking), or a related financial operations role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience using general ledger systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Experience with procurement and reporting tools such as SAP Ariba or Oracle Fusion.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including working with large datasets, financial reporting, analysis, and presentations.
  • Interest in media, entertainment, and technology industries is preferred.
