Position Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to support purchasing, materials, inventory, and supplier activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency required
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and data-entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Purchasing, materials, inventory, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred
  • Associate degree and/or approximately 2 years of related experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up on open purchase orders and supplier deliveries
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery status
  • Update purchasing, expediting, and materials reports
  • Enter revised delivery dates into MRP
  • Create and close purchase orders
  • Assist with material and equipment expediting
  • Monitor potential material shortages and overages
