The Purchasing Coordinator supports procurement operations by managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials required for manufacturing. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory levels, controlling costs, and supporting uninterrupted production processes.

Responsibilities


  • Create, process, and track purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, and negotiate delivery timelines
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and warehouse teams to forecast material needs
  • Ensure on-time delivery of materials to meet production schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in the ERP system
  • Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, shipments, and quality issues
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, quality, and finance
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures


Qualifications


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
