Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to support our procurement and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, tracking deliveries, and partnering with internal teams to ensure materials and services are delivered on time.

Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders, updates, receipts, and other purchasing transactions accurately and timely.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier documentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, shipping updates, and required documentation.
  • Assist in expediting material deliveries to support project schedules and customer commitments.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Track open orders, delivery commitments, and procurement activities.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Project Management, Accounting, Transportation, and suppliers to support business operations.
  • Support inventory, requisition, and material tracking activities.
  • Identify and communicate potential supply, delivery, or documentation issues.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments

Preferred:
