Crouch Staffing is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support a very busy Waco based business.
Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
Job Status: Full-time
Job Location: Waco, TX
Job Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
The Purchasing Assistant will coordinate with supplies, track orders, prepare purchase orders, and maintain accurate records to assist the Purchasing Manager. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. This role could occasionally involves assisting with inventory management and logistics to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and equipment to project sites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a fast learner, and a strong team player.
Job Duties will include:
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintain organized purchase-related files and records.
  • Provide price information for materials and ensure purchases remain within budget requirements.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues with orders and deliveries.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to support procurement needs.
  • Assist with inventory management and logistics as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
  • Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus.
