Purchasing Coordinator - Food Manufacturing

Open Position: Purchasing Coordinator
Competitive Pay - Up to $30/hr Based on Experience
Schedule: Standard Business Hours (Occasional Overtime)
Work Days: Monday - Friday 

What You'll Do
  • Purchase raw materials, ingredients, packaging, labels, and supplies to support production needs
  • Create and manage purchase orders within the ERP system while maintaining accurate supplier records
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and quality departments to ensure timely deliveries
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages while maintaining efficient stock levels
  • Track supplier performance and resolve issues involving pricing, quality, shortages, or delivery delays
What We're Looking For
  • 1-2 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems along with strong Excel and Outlook skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and vendor relationship management skills
  • Food manufacturing experience or knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
