Job description

Immediately hiring a Purchasing Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle of factory purchase orders. This role is key to ensuring accuracy in order processing, supporting client service teams, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The position works cross-functionally with teams across supply chain, finance, and customer experience, with a focus on operational efficiency and service excellence.


Hybrid schedule: 3 on site 2 remote


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete purchase order process - from creation through to final delivery.
  • Data entry within ERP system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to purchase order records, including pricing, lead times, shipping status, and internal notes.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment delays.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on any order delays or shipping issues that may impact clients.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in purchasing, order management, or a related supply chain or accounting function.
  • Familiarity with customs processes and international importing.
  • High attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
  • Strong collaboration and customer service mindset.
  • Effective organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; ERP experience (JDE preferred) is a plus.
