About the Team:
Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

About the Role:
The Inventory Clerks record inventory for a company so that items are accurately stocked and stored where they belong. This role reports to the Inventory Control Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes orders as required; tracks order and investigates problems.
  • Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Processes and documents return as required following established procedures.
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, and assisting in resolving issues.
  • May lead, guide, and train other employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.
  • Operate various forklifts in the RFC, including order pickers (cherry picker lift), sit-down, standup, and pallet jack forklifts.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

About The Pay: 

  • Base Salary Range: $22.00 Hourly
  • 401(k) Profit Sharing
  • Medical, Dental & Vision
  • Employees are eligible to earn up to 120 hours of vacation per year. Vacation time is accrued each pay period and is not granted in full at the start of employment.
  • Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You:

  • 1+ years of experience in inventory control, auditing, quality assurance, or other related experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with prospective employees in-person, through e-mail or over the phone.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Capable of maintaining policy and procedure documents and implementation.
  • Must have working experience using web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) is required.
  • Must have adequate writing/speaking skills (English).
