Our client is a full-service electrical contractor 37 years in business! Join their friendly, supportive team as Purchasing Administrator. Immediate Vacancy $24-$25/hour Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm Temporary to cover a short term leave What you will be doing: Vendor Order Management: Issue purchase orders for electrical materials and tools using our network of existing, established business partners. Order Tracking: Follow up on open orders with current partners to ensure timely delivery and resolve any arrival discrepancies. Invoice Reconciliation: Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery slips before submitting them to accounts payable. General Office Admin: Answer incoming office calls, manage digital files, sort incoming mail, and assist with data entry. Team Support: Provide general administrative assistance to project managers and estimators as required. What you will bring: Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in an office administration, procurement, or clerical support role. Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in a construction, trades, or electrical office environment is a strong asset but not required. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a comfort learning basic inventory or billing software.
