WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING
- Makes sure that parts are available on time as needed for specific maintenance issues
- Purchase for maintenance, machine repair/ spare parts to OEM spec and safety standards
- Adhere to proper business ethics by quoting multiple suppliers
- Research and establish venders/ suppliers in the USA that are cost and lead time effective
- Enters and maintains list of suppliers in maintenance system
- Maintains MP2 Inventory, work order, Equipment & Purchasing Modules with the aid of the system administrator when needed
- Maintain maintenance spare parts inventory to reduce and/or eliminate machine down time and/or loss of production
- Perform random cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory count accuracy (1 to 2 weekly)
- Establish MP2 inventory usage history by tracking all parts movement, through receive and check out features to establish min/max and reorder point for all spare parts
- Assists and trains other ALPLA employees on the use of MP2 inventory, equipment, work order, work order request and purchasing modules
- Shipping, receiving and inventory control of all machine's spare parts
- Work with the other ALPLA USA plants on sharing of inventory
