ABOUT THE ROLE
The Warehouse & Inventory Operations Manager is responsible for leading warehouse, inventory, repair, deployment, logistics, and field service operations while establishing the processes, organization, and operational discipline necessary to support a growing business. This role is accountable for inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, operational readiness, workflow efficiency, and the development of a high performing team that consistently delivers operational excellence.
This role partners closely with Operations, Product, IT, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure inventory readiness, equipment availability, and efficient execution of company initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Warehouse operations run efficiently, with receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, and material handling processes supporting business objectives and customer needs.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce warehouse organization standards through standardized storage practices, inventory location management, labeling systems, documented procedures, regular audits, and accountability measures.
  • Lead all warehouse, inventory, repair, deployment, shipping, receiving, and field service support operations.
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes that improve inventory visibility, material flow, space utilization, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
  • Design and optimize warehouse layouts, storage strategies, and inventory locations to maximize efficiency, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Ensure inventory records remain accurate and current within SAP and related systems through cycle counts, reconciliations, audits, and process controls.
  • Manage all inventory transactions, including receiving, transfers, deployments, returns, adjustments, and disposition activities.
  • Oversee equipment staging, deployment, repair, refurbishment, replacement, and return activities to support customer and operational requirements.
  • Manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate purchasing requests, inventory replenishment activities, vendor communications, and RMA processes.
  • Lead repair and technical service operations to ensure equipment is processed efficiently and returned to service as quickly as possible.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, IT, Engineering, and Project Management teams to support deployments, inventory planning, and operational initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators that provide visibility into inventory accuracy, warehouse performance, repair activity, deployment readiness, shipping operations, and technician productivity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve inventory accuracy, and strengthen operational consistency.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse and technical operations personnel while maintaining accountability for performance and results.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Travel Requirement: Occasional travel may be required based on operational or project needs.
  • Physical Requirement: Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. and work within a warehouse environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or operations management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing warehouse processes, inventory controls, organization standards, and operational procedures required.
  • Previous leadership experience managing warehouse, technical, or operational teams required.
  • Experience managing employee performance, coaching, development, and accountability processes required.
  • Experience with inventory management, shipping and logistics operations, purchasing coordination, and RMA workflows required.
  • SAP or other ERP system experience required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting electronics repair, device deployment, or technical service operations.
  • Ability to analyze operational data, monitor performance metrics, and generate actionable reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
