Pump Truck Operator

Location: Denver Metro Area.
Schedule: Full-time, must be willing to work weekends.
Compensation: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, plus commission.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is looking for a Pump Truck Technician to join our growing team. We serve customers throughout the Denver metro area and Northern Colorado, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service.

The right candidate will have previous experience operating pump trucks, a great attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to maintain the highest safety standards while operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class B commercial pump truck to service residential and commercial customers throughout the Denver metro area.
  • Set up, connect, and manage heavy hoses and pumping equipment, including lifting, moving, and repositioning heavy equipment.
  • Transport and unload collected waste at approved treatment and disposal facilities, following all site-specific procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Pump, transport, and dispose of wastewater and non-hazardous waste in full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with disposal site partners and treatment facility staff to ensure smooth, reliable service.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
  • Provide options and recommendations based on the customer’s needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment, and report any repair or replacement needs.
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, and local plumbing codes.
  • Be available to work weekends as needed.
  • Travel to jobs throughout the Denver metro area and/or Northern Colorado.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a pump truck operator.
  • Ability to lift, move, and position heavy gear weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Understanding of DOT regulations and safe commercial vehicle operation.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
  • Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with a tanker endorsement (N) required.
  • Clean driving record .
