Job description

Team Elmer's seeks to fill an opening for a Pump Truck Operator at the East Jordan plant. This position is responsible for maintenance and general operations of a 32-meter Schwing pump truck. The operator will be dispatched to specific locations on a daily basis and may drive ready mix on days the pump is not utilized.Duties and Responsibilities:Workday is spent driving the truck to the construction site and outside while setting up, operating and tearing down the equipment.The operator will complete a daily inspection of the truck. Operator will complete daily inspection of the truck. Operator must wear a reflective vest and boots. A hard hat, safety glasses, and earplugs, may also be required at the work site. The operator will be required to comply with and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety regulations. "The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position."Qualifications:Valid license, CDL with airbrake endorsementClean driving record for the past 5 years.Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.Proven ability to work with customersAbility to maintain and service the truck and equipmentAbility to work in a team environment and take direction from various people.Willingness to comply and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety rulesAbility to communicate effectively and clearly orally and in writing.Possess effective time management and organizational skills.2-3 years previous experience preferred but not required.EEO/AA
