Heavy Industrial Project Manager - Construction
Location: Near the Grovetown, GA area
A dynamic leader and supplier of industrial scaffolding, painting, coating, and rope access services is looking to grow their Operations Leadership Team with the addition of a Heavy Industrial Project Manager.
The company is backed by a Private Equity Firm that has combined a conglomerate of industrial services companies focused on maintenance, construction, and turnaround projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Heavy Industrial sectors. This is a FULL-TIME position that will be based out the Grovetown, GA area (relocation assistance available).
It will support scaffolding, abatement, painting, insulation, and other continuous improvement projects for large scale industrial plants (Pulp & Paper, Scaffolding, O&G, Petrochemicals...etc) in the Spring Grove, PA area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong dose of site and construction management experience working on Heavy Industrial Projects (Pulp & Paper, Scaffolding, O&G, Petrochemicals...etc) that had sites of 30+ individuals on related projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Heavy Industrial Project Manager / Construction Plant Manager - Develops and manages project budgets, performs cost estimation, and manages invoicing & receivables across various projects
  • Heavy Industrial Project Manager / Construction Plant Manager - Maintains project schedules and allocates labor based on overall project needs
  • Heavy Industrial Project Manager / Construction Plant Manager - Maintains compliance between project operations and the clients' design specifications
  • Heavy Industrial Project Manager / Construction Plant Manager - Manage projects of various sizes and scope with up to 30+ individuals
  • Heavy Industrial Project Manager / Construction Plant Manager - Create, monitor, and enforce OSHA safety regulations across various scaffolding, abatement, and general industrial projects
  • Heavy Industrial Project Manager / Construction Plant Manager - Maintain familiarity with OSHA, NCCER, and ISNetworld regulations pertaining to day to day project operations
  • Heavy Industrial Project Manager / Construction Plant Manager - Periodically travel to various job sites to nearby project sites

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years in the industrial construction industry managing scaffolding, painting, blasting, abatement or similar projects
  • Previous experience supervising various heavy industrial or soft craft projects (Pulp & Paper, Scaffolding, O&G, Petrochemicals...etc) with teams of 30+ individuals
  • Strong understanding of budget, quality control, labor allocation, and invoicing & receivables
  • Must understand pricing, billing, and project cost to completion - Project Controls and scheduling experience is a HUGE plus
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, NCCER, and ISNetworld construction safety regulations
  • Strong background in Project Management supporting soft Craft Services, Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Construction, and/or PE backed organizations
  • Previous experience managing large scale construction, scaffolding, painting, coating, abatement, or similar projects
  • Educational background / industry experience in construction management, site management, plant construction operations, engineering, or a related technical field - Preferred
  • Understanding of current heavy industrial construction and general industry safety regulations in the sector (Pulp & Paper, Scaffolding, O&G, Petrochemicals...etc)
