The location in Sanford, (Florida, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Maintenance Manager. This job is full-time permanent.
Primary Purpose
Provide overall management and direction for mill maintenance functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a full commitment to safety, health, quality and environmental processes and programs, including labor relations and company policies.
  • Supervise and lead development of direct reports and hourly employees toward implementation of a self-directed and reliability-focused organization.
  • Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment; initiate orders as necessary.
  • Manage the planning, implementation and support of best maintenance practices.
  • Responsible for strategic maintenance planning, budgeting and execution.
  • Direct maintenance personnel in achieving predictive, preventive and reliability based maintenance excellence.
  • Achieving continuous improvement targets for both maintenance work efficiency and cost.
  • Work closely with Operational management to optimize the overall production and cost efficiency of the operation as well as manage risk.
  • Lead the equipment/process troubleshooting effort.
  • Determine the needs for and provide information and training to help build technical skills in the workforce.
  • Requires flexible hours including nights and weekends

(Note) This is a "hands-on" position where circumstances may require direct on-the-floor involvement.
Knowledge and Experience
  • B.S. in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
  • Ten (10) or more years' industry related experience.
  • Some level of process controls knowledge is preferred.
  • Possess excellent leadership, planning, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent skills in written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well at senior management levels in an organization.
