Scopely is looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our unannounced project in the US or Canada remotely or in Culver City in a hybrid basis.

We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing, and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Strategy/MMO featuring a well-known IP. You have the opportunity to join a highly experienced team to make a lasting impact on one of the next big releases.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Oversee the feature lifecycle in multiple parallel features, managing product requirements and feature quality from inception to delivery, including release analysis and reporting.
  • Player's Advocate: Prioritize player experience in every decision, aligning development with the target audience's needs and desires. Understand and address player issues to enhance the game. Identify and implement key initiatives to improve customer and player experiences.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership in daily tasks and larger projects, ensuring quality and timely execution, in multiple teams
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Manage and analyze game and market metrics, synthesizing data to derive actionable insights and recommendations. Demonstrate sound product judgment to formulate strategies and set clear, measurable objectives for achieving business goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a vocal, proactive team member; communicate complex ideas clearly; and maintain visibility with upper management and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and address potential issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Product Expertise: Extensive experience in product management and/or product development in software or live services.
  • Market Experience: Previous experience developing, launching and live operating RPGs in mobile.
  • Analytical Thinking: Comfortable interpreting data and market trends to guide decision-making, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • User experience knowledge: understanding of player behavior and user experience, with the ability to connect player needs to product and company goals.
  • Prioritization Skills: Skilled in managing backlogs, setting goals, and choosing the right tools and techniques to achieve high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated: Skilled at leading multiple cross-functional teams, mentoring talent, and creating an environment that drives engagement, growth, and results.

  • Live Operation Experience: previous working experience with live softwares.
  • Genre Experience: precious experience in either 4X strategy or Action RPG games.
  • Bachelor Degree in Video Game Design and Development
