Summary of Job Duties:

  • Overall management/oversight of entire MDS process
  • Proactively monitor and develop methods to increase overall scores
  • Use Quality Indicators effectively as a tool to address areas of concern by evaluation and initiation of policies, procedures, and programs
  • Promote positive public relations for the organization
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills are crucial
  • Assist, as needed, with medical records maintenance and retrieval
Requirements
  • Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from a State accredited school of Professional Nursing with a current, valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Indiana (required)
  • 1(+) year's experience with MDS reporting (required)
  • 2(+) years' experience in a long-term care facility (preferred)
