Location:Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Keeps all lobbies and public facilities (such as lobby restrooms, dining areas, the front desk, and offices) in a neat and clean condition. Public Area Attendant promotes a positive image of the property to members and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems. Position also acts as turndown attendant refreshing member rooms early evening.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleans public sitting rooms, public hallways and all public restrooms throughout the mansion
  • Cleans and maintains dining room, boardroom and occasionally spa area.
  • Sweep, vacuum and mop flooring throughout public areas. Posting caution signs when appropriate.
  • Polishes furniture, fixtures and railings as needed per venue.
  • Vacuums and polishes elevators.
  • Dusting all public areas.
  • Keeps the front of the hotel free from trash.
  • Perform special cleaning schedule given by the housekeeping control desk and/or housekeeping management
  • Report maintenance to supervisor/ housekeeping desk immediately.
  • Assist members in Public Areas when required.
  • Have good knowledge of all mansion facilities and resort hours of operation, restaurants, shops and function rooms.
  • Responsible to maintain supply inventory in the Public Area cleaning closets. 
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming standards as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all members and general hotel information. 
  • Change and replace used linen and terry, change dirty glasses, remove all trash, turn on radio or TV, fill ice bucket, close the drapes and windows, wipe down mirrors and any wet surfaces, hang robes and jackets, place shoes in the closet, and turn down the beds in all guest rooms and suites. * 
  • Set heating and cooling thermostats when guests are not present.
  • Load and stock service carts with linen and towel supplies.
  • Respond to special member requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Perform the tasks of a Housekeeper as needed to facilitate service.
  • Report any faulty equipment.
  • Report any suspicious activities.
  • Comply with hotel Lost and Found policy.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

We have casual, part-time opportunities available working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
