In this full-time position, you will play an essential role in providing effective rehabilitation services for patients dealing with various musculoskeletal issues. You will collaborate closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement and enhance treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

This position operates onsite within a hospital setting, allowing easy access to interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Our facility is designed to provide a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere for patients and staff alike, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and therapy rooms that prioritize patient comfort and safety.

• Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs and conditions.
• Conduct therapeutic exercise sessions, ensuring that patients perform movements correctly to maximize benefits and minimize risks.
• Administer therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient responses, progress, and any changes in condition to maintain clear communication with supervising PTs.
• Educate patients regarding home exercises and self-management strategies to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and proper documentation of clinical records to uphold patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team, contributing to multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We aim to empower our patients by closely monitoring their progress and tailoring interventions that support a speedier and safer return to their daily activities.

• Possession of an active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of California.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required, with completion of an accredited PTA program.
• Two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred, although new graduates with relevant clinical experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication skills focused on creating a trusting rapport with patients for optimal treatment adherence.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient documentation and continuity of care.
• Experience in a hospital setting implementing care plans as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Competitive salary in the range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
