What You’ll Be Doing:

Under the supervision of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), you will:

  • Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, and appropriate modalities (e.g., TENS application).
  • Work with the DPT to develop and assign Home Exercise Programs (HEP) using WebPT Reach and guide Aides in instruction.
  • Monitor patient progress, ensuring treatment goals are met and documenting key milestones, including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure seamless communication with the DPT and clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Support and educate patients, making sure they feel comfortable, confident, and motivated throughout their recovery journey.

Requirements:
  • Valid PTA license (required)
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
  • Familiarity with patient care documentation and best practices
  • Comfortable using EMR systems such as Prompt EMR, Prediction Health, and other digital tools
  • Experience in outpatient or other clinical rehab settings preferred
  • Skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and geriatric care a plus
  • Reliable transportation between clinic sites
