Weekends Only

Calling all those with a heart for care! We’re seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Whether you have previous PTA experience or are just beginning your journey, we welcome candidates who bring empathy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. Experience is a plus—but not required.

In a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting, PTAs play a vital role in supporting residents through their rehabilitation journeys. You’ll be a guiding hand, a trusted support, and an essential part of our caregiving community. From assisting with therapeutic exercises to promoting mobility and independence, your daily work will have a lasting and meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

  • Assist residents with mobility training, gait training, transfers, and strengthening exercises

  • Implement individualized therapy treatment plans according to resident needs

  • Monitor resident progress and document outcomes accurately and timely

  • Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding therapeutic activities and home exercise programs

  • Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment, ensuring equipment is used appropriately

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, therapy teams, and interdisciplinary teams to support overall care plans

  • Encourage resident participation and promote independence in daily functional activities

Qualifications for a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Current PTA certification or license in the state of Florida

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with elderly or rehabilitating residents
