Parkview PT Clinic is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Port Charlotte, Florida. This full-time position involves working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where you will play a critical role in evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic conditions. As a member of our rehabilitation facility, you will work in a supportive and dynamic onsite setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Examining and evaluating patients with orthopedic impairments to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implementing and documenting treatment plans, ensuring proper methods are followed in accordance with professional standards.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for patients.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Leading community outreach initiatives to promote physical health and wellness in the Port Charlotte area.
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and competencies.

Your work will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and managing musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with diverse populations, including older adults, athletes, and individuals with chronic pain. It is essential to approach each patient with cultural sensitivity and to engage effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record software.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be preferred:

• Previous experience working in orthopedic rehabilitation or in a similar clinical setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
• Experience in leadership roles, community outreach, and mentorship of colleagues or students.
