Ability Rehab PT is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team full-time at our outpatient office located in Appomattox, Virginia. This position is full-time and operates in an onsite outpatient office setting in beautiful Appomattox, Virginia. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for each patient, including thorough history reviews, physical assessments, and documenting results to establish a baseline for therapy.
• Develop and explain individualized treatment plans to patients and their families, integrating their input into goal-setting.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations and patient responses, ensuring safe and effective care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary, recognizing changes in patient conditions, and modifying care plans accordingly.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely, including progress notes and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining a flexible schedule to meet patient needs and participate in community outreach events.
• Actively contribute to departmental goals and participate in continuing education opportunities to keep skills current and relevant.
• Enhance patient access to care by engaging in initiatives aimed at removing barriers and improving service delivery.

As a Physical Therapist at Ability Rehab PT, you will primarily serve outpatient clients with various orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation needs. Your expertise will not only help patients regain function and mobility but will also support their overall wellness and quality of life. • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification.

While two years of experience are required, candidates with a background in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation or specialized certifications such as manual therapy or athletic training will be given preference. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and rehabilitation technologies will also be advantageous.
