Physical therapists frequently work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and sometimes social workers to develop comprehensive care plans for patients. This team-based approach ensures that each patient's unique needs are addressed, leading to better outcomes and more coordinated care.

What is a physical therapist?

Physical Therapists (PTs) are licensed healthcare professionals who help patients improve movement, manage pain, and recover from injuries or surgeries. They assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and use exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques to restore function and mobility. PTs work in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and sometimes provide home care. They also educate patients on preventing further injury and promote overall wellness.
