What is a PT technician?

A PT Technician, or Physical Therapy Technician, is a healthcare support professional who assists physical therapists in providing care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions. Their duties often include preparing treatment areas, helping patients with exercises, maintaining equipment, and performing administrative tasks. PT Technicians play a vital role in ensuring that therapy sessions run smoothly and that patients receive the support they need for their rehabilitation. They typically work in hospitals, clinics, or rehabilitation centers under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
