This role plays a critical part in offering essential mental health services at our Community Health Clinic in Glendale, California. • Conduct both individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and growth within our client population.
• Develop comprehensive and client-centered treatment and discharge plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual on your caseload.
• Coordinate essential treatment services, ensuring clients have access to the resources they need to succeed in their mental health journey.
• Maintain regular communication with families, caregivers, and referral sources to optimize treatment outcomes and foster a support network.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and participating in Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Stay current with best practices by participating in in-service training, supervision sessions, and team discussions to refine counseling techniques and strategies.
• Ensure client documentation is thorough and complies with all licensing requirements and organizational policies.

Your work will primarily focus on diverse groups of individuals seeking mental health support, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a vital member of our team, you will be instrumental in creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe and understood, fostering lasting change and improvement in their overall well-being.

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure in the state of California is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple client cases efficiently.
• Demonstrated self-direction with the capability to work independently without constant supervision.

• Experience working in community health settings or with a diverse clientele is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms is highly preferred.

We offer a competitive yearly salary in the range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
