Role 1: New Patient Intake Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from new patients and provide information about services
  • Explain treatment structure, costs, and general EDD-related questions
  • Guide prospective patients through the intake process
  • Schedule initial appointments and ensure accurate data entry
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while maintaining appropriate boundaries
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulation

Role 2: Front Office Scheduling Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Manage appointment scheduling for existing patients across multiple providers
  • Coordinate rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-up appointments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records in the EHR
  • Ensure continuity and consistency within structured scheduling workflows
  • Communicate with patients in a clear, professional, and efficient manner
