Inpatient Psychiatrist Needed in Alaska

Palmer, Alaska is a small, rural community just 43 miles from Anchorage. Twelve miles north of Palmer is Hatcher Pass, a scenic mountainous pass that's been established as a state park and is home to the Independence Mine. It serves as a local backcountry area for skiers, snowboarders, and hikers, as well as a tourist attraction in the summer months. As industry leaders and Joint Commission Certified, CompHealth applies over 40 years of tenured experience to your unique situation, preferences, and goals.

Choose your schedule: 7 on/7 off or Monday – Friday

Hospital-employed position in acute behavioral health unit

Primarily adults with occasional adolescents

Three advanced practitioners in the unit

Medical Director opportunity available if desired

Inpatient only with plans to expand to outpatient

Recent graduates and experienced physicians welcomed

Alaska has no state income tax
