Internship Opportunity
This is the general application for individuals applying to complete an LPC track or MSW internship via Samaritan Center. Please indicate on your application which type of internship you are looking for.
  • Field Experience: Bachelor's-level students and non-clinical graduate level students (unpaid)
  • LPC Practicum: Master-level students on Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) track
  • LPC Internship I and II: Master-level students on the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) track. The paid portion of the internship is for direct hours of case managing in a school setting and/or clinical counseling.
  • MSW - Year 1 & 2: Master-level students on the Licensed Social Worker (LSW) track. The paid portion of the internship is for direct hours of case managing in a school setting and/or clinical counseling.

As an intern, you can complete tasks related to your program of study. This internship opportunity may include the following elements:
Direct Hours:
  • Providing Mental Health Screenings with our TeenHope Program
  • Co-Therapy with a Samaritan Center Therapist
  • Offering Individual Couseling at Samaritan Center
  • Working 1:1 with students in a school-based setting
  • Working 1:1 with individuals at one of our program sites (older adult communities, community partner sites)
