The Contracts Unit within the Prevention Services Division (PSD) helps lead efforts to improve the health and well-being of all Coloradoans through health promotion, public health prevention programs, and access to health care. The Unit provides consultation and technical assistance to PSD employees, state and local public and private agencies, and organizations serving or supporting the health-related needs of this population.

The unit's primary focus is on outgoing funding to support these health-related initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Contract Liaison This position exists to serve the PSD programs in the area of procurements and contracts and associated financial data entry. This position provides purchasing and contractual expertise for all assigned programs within PSD by creating and maintaining the procurement information in the google suite and state accounting system, CORE.

This position plans, implements, and supports activities that require efficient operation of all CORE functions within PSD. This position conducts process reviews and gathers and analyzes existing data and must have knowledge of the state procurement rules to ensure proper documentation has been obtained. This position manages the PSD contract trackers and PSD contract file management, submits necessary requests to central PCS and coordinates with PSD staff in the area of purchasing and contractual documentation expertise by analyzing contractual documentation requirements, obtaining the required documents, and maintaining the database of the contractual documentation, including vendor contact, insurance certificates, financial information and other contractual information.

Additionally, this position tracks, within the database, historical funding awards and modifications and assists SME in developing a work plan, program goals and objectives while liaisoning between PSD and central PCS. Experience managing contract or procurement trackers, including monitoring active portfolios, flagging expiring agreements, and identifying missing documentation. Experience organizing and maintaining large-scale digital repositories (e.g., Google Workspace) for sensitive documents such as W-9s, insurance certificates, and financial assessment questionnaires.
