Job description

Role & Responsibilities

Client Engagement

  • Collaborate with Senior Financial Advisors and the Evergreen team to provide exceptional client experience and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Conduct annual client meetings, including review of portfolios/products, identification of life events, and discussion of service needs
  • Complete ad hoc client meeting and service requests
  • Complete pre- and post-meeting actions: develop agendas, assemble statements and reports, develop personalized recommendations, document notes, identify action items, communicate with applicable staff
  • Assist staff with onboarding, new account applications, and service actions as needed
  • Conduct yourself professionally and promptly at all times
  • Effectively utilize communication methods (in-person, phone, email, authorized text) preferred by clients
  • Respond to all client communication within 24 hours (same day preferred)

Product and Portfolio Operations

  • Become an expert in all products provided and operating processes. Stay current on markets, model updates, product changes, and regulations
  • ·Insurance reviews: Summarize coverage needs, gather quotes/illustrations, and prepare comparisons (life, disability, long-term care)
  • Trade execution: complete unsolicited trade requests, monitor trade completion, and resolve obstacles
  • Tax assessment: Coordinate with CPAs, identify capital gains exposure and tax-loss harvest candidates, and execute IRA Required Minimum Distribution requirements

Practice Operations and Compliance

  • Maintain thorough client records, documents, meeting notes, disclosures, and client acknowledgments
  • Rigorously maintain workflow data, keep tasks and status updates current, update pipelines, and maintain overall data quality
  • Follow internal and partner policies, uphold fiduciary standards where applicable, and ensure delivery of required disclosures (ADV, CRS)
  • Maintain all licensing (e.g., SIE, Series 7/66; insurance, state licenses) and promptly complete continuing education
  • Contribute to better ways of working, recommend efficiency improvements, and identify client experience improvement opportunities

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business program (marketing, finance, accounting, etc.) or three years of applicable work experience. Current or former college athletes and military veterans are encouraged to apply
  • Satisfactory background check and fingerprinting. Insurance license and securities registration verification is required for current industry professionals
  • Willingness and ability to obtain FINRA Series 6, 7, and 66, SIE, and life insurance licenses within six months of hire

Preferred Attributes:

  • Financial services industry experience and/or customer service experience in a professional, high-volume setting
  • Certified Financial Planner designation or willingness to obtain within two years of hire
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or minor in finance or accounting
