Operations Manager

Job Requirements:
Responsible for the performance of projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development/capture efforts by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.
Critical Knowledge & Skills:
Demonstrated ability of managing large business application software development efforts.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients.
Demonstrated ability to identify and capture new business opportunities within the Healthcare IT market.
Demonstrated ability of supporting proposal/bid/negotiation strategies for new business opportunities.
Must have Previous (Center for Medicare and Medicaid) CMS experience.
10 years of Information Technology experience.
Must have excellent written and communication skills.
Must have hands-on working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
Must have hands-on working knowledge of MS Project.
Education and Pluses
A Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of ten to twelve years of related experience in a related technical environment are required.
PMI PMP Preferred
The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 110,000 to130,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
