INTRODUCTION:

This Operating Procedure is developed to provide a functional description of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) position. The primary function of CSR is to ensure the satisfaction of our customers in their business dealings with us. CSR is the primary point of customer contact for the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

Required: A High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to operate office machines including Computer, Calculator, and Copier and be willing to learn Stone Profits and box store portals.

You must have good telephone skills. Must be organized and detail oriented. Must be able to work with constant interruptions and distractions.

Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in English to interact with clients and other employees and write and read reports. You must have excellent telephone communication skills and the ability to deal with customers who may be irate.

Occasionally you will be required to go into the yard, which may be hot, cold, wet, and dirty.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Enter all customer information into Stone Interiors operating system.

Inspect drawings to verify quantities and verify changes for contract adjustments.

Monitor and verify orders to move towards production.

Inform management about schedule requirements, inventory needs, deliveries and pickups, and other information needed for the efficient handling of customer orders.

Provide installers with accurate directions, instructions, and maps for delivery.

Assure customer satisfaction after installation.

File all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

Cheerfully greet all customers as they enter the premises.

Assist other departments as needed.
