What does a provider installation representative do?

A Provider Installation Representative is responsible for onboarding healthcare providers into a health insurance network or system. Their main duties include verifying provider credentials, setting up provider profiles, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records in the system. They also serve as a liaison between the provider and the insurance company to resolve issues related to enrollment or ongoing participation. This role is essential for ensuring that providers are properly credentialed and available to serve plan members.
